Re: About a gate and a cross... oh and some new pictures of a temple

Hello :) Thanks for the nice words. Yes the arms of "Jesus" are made with a little flex tube from a Technic Sub. the idea was passed on to me by Rene Kok (whom I'm very thankfull for this ;) ) (Oh the name of the picture has the name Brian in it, (...) (...) Thanks! What better decoration for the Lego room's bathroom than a Lego toilet? It's pretty lowbrow, and my kids love it. (...) So you start with this then you put it here then you do this: (5 URLs) (...) Heh- good call, but no. I didn't put (...) (20 years ago, 10-Apr-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: About a gate and a cross... oh and some new pictures of a temple

Hi Casper, I saw your Easter scene yesterday at brickshelf.com. Just great, the spread wide arms of Jesus Minifig using a tube is a great idea! Is the temple the one you've shown in Berlin last year? I'm working on an extension of my (URL) Venice> (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

Hi Christian I grew up on Indiana Jones movies so I have always had an interest in the pre and post 2nd World War era. But primarily I get a lot of satisfaction out of building a model of a vehicle that exists. Finding the images from books or the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Hello Chris I didn't know that you were into that era as well. Think that most of your other creations are more temporary. Any more coming? I like your helicopter, it goes really well sizewise with the vehicles. And thank you for the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) I know Casper very good, and you know, it's not HIS fault that he doesn't build enough ancient-work... it's Lego's!?? :-) ?? Yes! If you look close to the details you spot the use of many, MANY jumperplates and tiles (normal grey of course). (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

(...) Thanks for your comments Jan-Albert. There's nothing better for me as a builder than someone actually recognising the inspiration for a LEGO creation - that just made my day! As for a diorama? Yep, sounds like a good idea - I'll have to think (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.military)

P38 entry & other new MOCs

I built several MOCs over the last couple weeks, & here they are. First off, a P38 space contest entry. this started as a test to make a relatively sleek, all-enclosed cockpit from the 4098 High Fliers set, (thus the name HF38). the twin tails (...)
