  Re: B.I.Joe MOC: Water Moccasin

Sweet, I love the green and what a wicked cockpit. The shapes are cool too, I like the round mixed in there with the bricks. The fan at the back is nuts. Cool gun too, awesome stuff. -Geordan (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

FYI- Moving on -&- Mr. Krinkle in the Raw

I'm moving on and expanding my horizons. I have now, and for some time, encountered trouble making ends meet. So I am moving on and I no longer work at LEGO Brand Retail. I am pursuing other opportunities. I hope to share them with you when I learn (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.people, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: My army on field training exercise

(...) Hello Bruce, Thank you for cross-posting. I knew it could be done, but wasn't quite sure how. Also, since this is mostly an array of minifigs... and a couple vehicles, it really wasn't all that ... I dunno, MOCish.. or perhaps creative or (...)   B.I.Joe MOC: Water Moccasin

Here's the newest addition to the B.I.Joe webpage. (URL) The Water Moccasin. Again this space is reserved for the apology to the spacers for posting to .space, so....I'm sorry, but it is a bit sci-fi ish :). Hopefully it takes a few of you down (...)   Re: DS Imperial Docking Bay Details

(...) Thanks! Those two ISD's were actually last minute additions. I don't know of any dioramas that exist using that kind of perspective using the ships. But I've done one before using Hasbro AT-ATs. (URL) AC (21 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: My army on field training exercise

(...) Hey Ken, I've seen and admired your military creations on Brickshelf over the years. Welcome to Lugnet. -I've cross-posted this over to lugnet.build.military, as most of your MOCs would be discussed there. Bruce (21 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.build.military)

  P-38 contest update

I have a lot of entries I'll be adding in the next day. If you don't see yours on the site don't worry. There will be 4 awards. 1 award for best microfig P-38 1st, 2nd, 3rd for everything else. I'm building the prizes and I'll figure out just how (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Microscale by bccook

I do not have words to describe my reaction. I have been coming to LUGNET only a short time and seldom have I posted but this MOC makes me drool. Sorry to gush like a tween at a Hilary Duff Concert but OH-MY-GOLLY is this ever cool! The Santa Fe (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Microscale by bccook

Hey all, I was away for a few days and was just skimming through the last week of Brickshelf and found this by bccook: (URL) it out--lots of classic sets in microscale. Bruce (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: DS Imperial Docking Bay Details

Hey AC, Nicely done. I especially like the picture where you can see two ISD's flying by--playing with scales like that to imply perspective. Hmm, have you seen any dioramas that use system scale X-wings and TIEs in combination with mini versions to (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) Thanks. My inspiration was the 6X6 from Macross (Can't find a pic right now). I think someone else may have used those smoke dischargers too, can't remember. (...) Yeah, I agree, but all the vision blocks I tried just didn't work. Once I (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) Thanks. I'm working on another Pirate SHIP, so we'll see if the lessons learned here can be applied. (...) Yeah, now that you mention it, it does seem that way. I don't think a ladder could be added without disrupting the flow of the lines (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New MOC- Pirate APC

(...) No, the underside is pretty much featureless. Thanks, I was trying to apply the Space Pirate style to a ground vehicle, nice to know it worked. (...) (Blush) (...) Always, man, always. Soren (21 years ago, 1-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Appleseed 4/17/2004

I personally love this style. The only time I've ever seen anything along the same lines is an upcoming capcom game called crimson tears, and that looks great. I can't wait. (21 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Possibly a new, somewhat dastardly SNOT technique...

(...) Sez YOU! How do you think LEGO gets it to be the right length??? >:-) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Possibly a new, somewhat dastardly SNOT technique...

(...) Ah, this is the thing. Cutting PNEUMATIC tubing is allowed, as Lego themselves advocated it from the very first pneumatic sets, and gave you cutting guides. Cutting FLEX tubing isn't, as they always supplied it in correct lengths. So, you're (...) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Appleseed 4/17/2004

(...) o.k. gotta counterpoint, folks. i agree that mixing cel-shaded animation along with cg is kind of tacky. HOWEVER, if you pay close enough attention to the appleseed trailer, you should notice that the movie is not alternating between cg and (...) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
