Thanks for the comments Jason - I've always had an affinity for the proportioning tendencies of anime and mid-century american sci-fi robots of the future, and he came about as an amalgam of those influences. Hi all! Thanks for the help, it was very useful. I have made what I needed, and got the idea to add a font to those available - mine is smaller: (URL) have even added symbols for: - = degrees. Using newer Lego elements, it's not all that fragile if you hold it in the right places, one of which is if you pincer the whole model between the twin black 1x1 plates with eyeholes on both sides.
