Thanks for the comments Jason - I've always had an affinity for the
proportioning tendencies of anime and mid-century american sci-fi robots of the
future, and he came about as an amalgam of those influences. It is a mech of my
own design, and you can definitely see those influences there. He can pose quite
well, but I ran out of time when I was photographing, so I need to go back and
shoot some more images of him posing when I photograph my next model. Hopefully
soon!
