Re: The P-38 Lightning Space Contest

Cool! A contest to make a space creation that looks like my favorite pre-jet-era aircraft!! I'd suggest an "extra points" contest to get the cockpit entry as close to the original as possible. (For those unfamiliar with the P-38, the top center (...) (21 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: B.I. Joe : A.W.E. Striker

(...) Gil, this is sweet! Lots of detail packed in this one. The gun is superb. I love the short stubby-ness of it. Very minifig-ish. Great job recreating the Hasbro version. It has a over all great military look. Well done. -Captain John “aka Mark (...) (21 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Building within the constraints of the X-Pod sets

Although the the x-pod sets contain only 30-40 pieces each, they are such a rich collection of pieces that, when coupled with a bit of imagination, they provide almost endless building possibilities. I like building with a constrained set of parts: (...) (21 years ago, 2-Feb-04, to lugnet.build)
