New MOC: 1:18 scale BMW M5 Sedan

Ever since winning a pen at Brickswest two years ago, I've wanted to use the round segments in a MOC. Last semester, I finally got around to Brasso-ing off the letters. I also found a bunch of pictures of BMWs, the perfect car for a bunch of round (...) All, Can someone tell me who this is: (URL) extremely interested in how these were rendered. If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Ben Vaughan (21 years ago, 13-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: P-51D Mustang with red cowling

(...) Wow, that is a really good MOC. I think it is really interesting how both of our attempts take such different approaches & compromises to modeling the P-51 and yet both pull it off quite well. I cannot wait to see the photos. It would be cool (...) (21 years ago, 13-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: P-51D Mustang with red cowling

(...) Thanks Shaun I am most happy to influence your model of the Bf 109. I am really looking forward to see this new model of yours and to learn how you have solved the problem with the canopy and other tricky parts. Maybe I should arm my Mustangs (...)   Re: MOC: Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, Austria

Hi Esben, Your moc is very creative. As others have said, for using limited amounts of bricks you seem to have captured the building nicely. I love architecture moc's. Even though I prefer medieval buildings, I have a small soft spot for unique (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, Austria

Re: P-51D Mustang with red cowling

(...) Great looking model, Mattias! It's been nice to see a flurry of activity in .military lately. (...) This is a truly elegant solution! I spent much of my time this weekend starting (and finishing!) an Me BF-109, and I had the same goal - to (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: MOC: Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, Austria

Hi Esben, thanks for sharing your brilliant work! You really hit the Hundertwasser character with the LEGO bricks! It's obvious to use the multi-coloured LEGO bricks to build a Hunderwasser house, but no one did it before. And you also managed to (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: MOC: Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, Austria

Hello Esben, If your collection really is what I would also call "limited", then this building gives you the opportunity to build a relatively large building witout running out of a specific color of bricks, or a specific sort of windows ;-). But (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: MOC: Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, Austria

(...) That house seems like something Dali or Escher might have done! Very wild. I went to the site that you gave for more information and it gave some info on this architect's other work but did not answer the burning question I had... WHY? What (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: Aimes AirCorp Gyroplane

(...) Thanks for the comments Douglas. I actually got the original idea from the gyroplane that Howard Hughes flew in the "Rocketeer". It is nice to do a color outside of grey for a change :). It does seem a little under-armed. I might change that (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Crimson Skies MOC: Aimes AirCorp Gyroplane

(...) I hear ya on the canopy thing. At first it was going to be an open cockpit. But then figured I would try to use a hinge and canopy. It has been fun to do stuff away from space. Thanks for the comments. Jamie (URL) (21 years ago, 12-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: MOC: Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, Austria

What a brilliant model, and a good use for primary colours I showed this to my wife who is a big Hundertwasser (but not Lego :( ) fan and she loved it. Spotlighted (lit?) Tim (21 years ago, 11-Jan-04, to lugnet.build)

MOC: Hundertwasser Haus in Vienna, Austria

Hello everybody! This fall I went with my family to Vienna and we went by the amazing Hundertwasser Haus.
