  Re: New MOC: Gundam Mk-II

(...) Nice work Anne, even more impressive since it's only your second mech! I especially like the gun a lot, great shape and complexity to it. If I could make a suggestion . . . if you push back your knee hinge one stud backwards you could get more (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Real Mech Freshness

(...) Hello mecha heads, it's been a while. I gotta catch up with all the cool stuff I missed in .build.mecha. Slowly but surely . . . Anyways, I like this design in particular. . . . (URL) just a really beautiful form. I love how all the lines are (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Assorted Tanks

(...) Thanks Chris. I got the tracks from Pitsco Dacta Lego Store: (URL) They're sold as supplemental packs. It's still fairly expensive but much cheaper than getting multiple power pullers. Lego is probably using the profits from the tread to (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Assorted Tanks

Great tanks. I have a question though - almost embarrassed to ask - where do you get the tracks from? I bought the technic "power puller" a while ago and thought I had solved that question. But alas, I would need a hell of a lot of power pullers to (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  New MOC: Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder

Hello all, I've just uploaded my new (URL) Landspeeder> MOC to my website. (URL) Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks. (2 URLs) (Bruce) (URL) LEGO @ Bruce's Homepage> (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Star Shrike Interceptor

(...) Thanks. The tile actually fit the attitude and color scheme decently, something I've not quite perfected. I should have named the ship after something playing card-related. (...) That's the idea .. easy, small and cheap to make. (...) I (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Star Shrike Interceptor

(...) Admittedly, yes. Thanks for being kind in using the word cliché rather than hackneyed. The name wasn't important to me. Yet I felt I should call it something. I wanted to hurry up and post as it's more difficult for me to build something like (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) Thanks Steve. Your comments about the JSF canopy are appreciated! I tried to use it a bit tilted as the pilot can see out a bit better. I've seen good uses of this canopy, and while I like it a lot, it sometimes seems like it's not tall enough (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) LOL .. Thanks! (...) Every once in awhile I like to try an "impossible" piece an see just how possible it is, even if it's an older part. Sometimes those older parts peek at me and say, "try this..", and then I either do or die. (...) Thanks. (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) Hey Tom, I really dig the shape of this. And you've achieved success with a canopy that I've found impossible to use to date. -Nick (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) No way man... learned my lesson about that. How about a Xeon instead? ;) Nice little craft there... reminds me of a mosquito... a very heavily armed mosquito, but a mosquito nonetheless. I like it. Captain Krotzer, The Unknown Division/UD (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) Now that's a lot of missles! You can never go wrong blanketing the enemy in missle fire. I love the compact form. I can just imagine a squadron of these things swarming over the enemy. Sean (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) Heh. Tom, that's so, well, ugly. Elegantly ugly. And easily the best integration I've ever seen of the old Exploriens wing elements. I'm especially impressed by the posterior fuselage, with the mating of the 1/4 4x4x6 circle panel and the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Medieval(?) house

(...) Thanks! (...) Actually, there's not so much conscious thought, probably more of a long background process. I have wanted to build something like it for a long time, and finally I just sat down a couple of evenings and built. My limited amount (...)   Re: New MOC: Gundam Mk-II

(...) Awwww - thanks Annennanne :-) Wait...what do you want from me??? More free Lego? ;-) Bob (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) Great shape...never seen those wing/panel elements used like that before. They offer great recess area for the ordinance. Interesting SNOT solution to give ample room in the cockpit and still seal that miserable canopy as well. Cheers, -Gil (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Little Red Pod

(...) This is neat, Tom. I never thought of those Futron-era angled panels as dish replacements...comes together so naturally with the windscreen. It almost has a PCS quality to it. Although with that colour scheme, I suppose it falls into the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)
