  Black Club car, modified metroliner+more
 
I just finished my black club car: (URL) also have pictures of a modified metroliner to get 2 passenger cars and an engine out of one set. Apparently Alex de Lint, and his 5 meter minifig scale titanic was shown on Torontonian TV today. My girlfriend saw it, and I'll try and get channel information if anyone is interested! I don't have my PARTS.LST file on my desktop, so I'm not sure of the LDraw name, but it's the spigot piece used, among other places, in the old Alpha-1 Rocket Base. Is it currently available in any sets? In what colors? I have several blue- base (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

You are right that the set 810 does come in a timber storage box,(1966!!) however, ours is double thickness, holds two trays inside one on top of the other, these trays have many compartments and are full of basic. It must be one of the wooden box sets that Lego released long long ago (60s or 70s, I don't have my catalog scans CD with me right now). There are several (at least 2 or 3) different sets released with wooden boxes, and if I'm not wrong one of them (...) (25 years ago, 26-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)
