Welcome! Good Form, cool Feet, the Knees use good parts, the Torso area is very cool, the Head is neat with that long slope on top, the Arms look like they have alot of mobility, its wild how you used those Jackhammers on the top of the Shoulders.   Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

(...) If I were entering, I think I'd build a big model of an upscale mall (complete with department store Santa, valet parking, and gold plated door handles), since I worship Mammon. :-) Or so some allege anyway. More seriously, how *would* one (...) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

(...) Um, well, the contest theme does state that the model "...MUST meet the criteria of representing the SPIRITUAL aspect of Christmas..." (emphasis added) so, yes that seems like a safe bet. Rick C. (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Optimus Primal

(...) Not at all! As Eric put it, some of us have been too busy this past week or so to post anything whatsoever, so here goes (with the 2.5 minutes I can spare right now...) Head: great look to it! (...) Chunkage Contained. I always like seeing what you come up with. I just havn't had a chance to reply yet. My thoughts, you use the Dino bodies in interesting ways. But wow they make huge forearms! e (URL) (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

I really like this mech, seems to be built tough and looks it too. When i first saw the legs on Brickshelf i was looking forward to seeing the rest, however the torso seems to be a bit too skinny for the legs, i was expecting something wider and (...)   Re: Castle MOC: Windmill

(...) This is really cool. Its awesome how the grindstone really works. I don't think I can describe it better than you did yourself: "a neat, simple little castle building that would go well with a town." If the blades where a little bit higher up (...)   Re: Roadkill

(...) I think it's fair to say that outside of the official group, the .build.mecha group is probably the most tolerant of MOCs built with Bionicle pieces, followed closely by .space and .starwars. (...) Excelent stuff. Bionicle or not, mecha of this quality are always a welcome sight around here. I'm a bit partial to the stuff myself. It's all LEGO. Allister (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I'm really not sure if I should post this, knowing that Bionicle is not always well respected over here (Or so I'm told). If this is true, I feel that it is probably because of all the 6 year old junk on Brickshelf. Bionicle is not Legos for babies. (...) (21 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Chains look kind of Spawn-y. What would it look like with even more chains? I'm not a mecha person, but the use of colors is attractive. (I've been looking at 1,330 Harleys this weekend, try that sometime.) -Erik (21 years ago, 1-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
