Re: Adventures of the Legoland Coast Guard Cutter

Hi Erin, The 'water' was just a piece of blue poster board over which I placed a 2' x 4' fluorescent light panel. There are several styles of panels available, but the pebbled finish looks the best for Lego boats. It's the same water I used when (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Adventures of the Legoland Coast Guard Cutter

Hi Hari, Thanks. For the flying shots, I just used a piece of fishing line strategically placed to balance the model in the proper position. I tried to adjust the lighting so the line wouldn't reflect in the picture. Some turned out great, but in (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Two minifigs side-by-side in 6 studs (was: MF Challenge!)

Wow, I didn't proofread that very well -- it's getting late. (...) Let's try that again: This will work for a space vehicle, which has solid walls. But it would look too clunky for a car -- the walls would go out to eight studs wide. There, that's (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Two minifigs side-by-side in 6 studs (was: MF Challenge!)
