  Debut MOC, Terp Sculpture
 
Hello all, I've been lurking here for months, and am now ready to unlurk. Here is a sculpture of the Unveristy of Maryland mascot Testudo, which I finished in time to show at brickfest. (...) Before I started building mine I calculated scale with a 1 foot to 1 stud ratio so that it would be fairly accurate. I stuck to that pretty religiously. (...) Thanks ;) Personally, I strongly prefer your seating design. To be really honest, at the time I built mine, getting it 100% accurate wasn't as important to me as just making it seem "right". Hi Jim, I loved seeing your creation at Brickfest. It was amazing, impressive, inspiring, dazzling. The use of color that everyone else has commented on I also found to be just stunning.
