Re: Heavy duty mecha (or other) joint

(...) bricks and join them with a Technic axle, allowing the studs on either side of the joint to face outward. Nifty! Dave! (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Heavy duty mecha (or other) joint

(...) Interesting....where does it get it's resistance from, or is it a free spinner? Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Heavy duty mecha (or other) joint

this is a heavy duty one-axis-of-rotation joint i've had in my mind for a while so i figured i'd Mlcad it & post: (URL) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: It's a Mech...It's a plane...It's, uh, both?

(...) Hey those guys were not the ultimatum on TFs (then again it was a licensed show, but look at some of those new designs ;-P ) (...) Adrian, You've created two excellent forms with this guy, and at microfig scale too! The proportions are great (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Sarlacc Pit Revisited

A year older and still I get responses about it. Mostly about asking more pics and finally I've gotten around to uploading in Brickshelf additional pics for it. Enjoy! (URL) & Sons (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  uCOG VI, improved leg geometry

I hope you enjoy my 6th version of my micromotor based weight shifting walker. I've been able to eliminate the need for two parts by improving the leg geometry of uCOG V. By changing the way the drive axles attach to the foot, you can adjust the (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)

Re: Hulk smash! Hulk race! Hulk go fast!

(...) That is way too funny...and cool. I think you're right that the IRL lay down rider position suits it a lot better than the lay back of the rest of the league....looks meaner to have his big, green, surly head beading down on you in the rear (...)   Variable Speed, reversible pneumatic engine

After reasonable feedback about the complexity of my first reversible pneumatic engine, I realized there was a very simple mechanical solution that would give reversability *and* variable speed. (URL) difference between going forward vs. backwards (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build) !!

Re: Hulk smash! Hulk race! Hulk go fast!

(...) No, I don't think it's as big as the Uberbike. If this is a competition, I'm sure I can find a way to use the tires from one of the big Technic sets in a turbocycle. Hrm...now there's an idea. Hulk might get size envy, and we can't have that, (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Hulk smash! Hulk race! Hulk go fast!

(...) Thanks Andrew. I must say that your Hulk model really was a clever little design. Great inspiration too :) Glad I happened to have that particular designer set laying around unsorted, so putting the Hulk together was nice and easy.   Re: It's a Mech...It's a plane...It's, uh, both?

(...) I wouldn't exactly call the transformation sequence "smooth", no. Because the shoulder joints are in essence a series of 1 stud connections, they have a habit of separating if I'm not careful. And the head, which is also a single stud (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Sphere (6.8 Stud Diameter)

  Re: It's a Mech...It's a plane...It's, uh, both?

Hey, that's awesome! I've tried to make some transformers myself, but I either make it too big and run out of parts or make it too small and it ends up sucking or being flimsy. I think you did a great job of keeping both forms seperate and distinct (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mo'betta Mo'betta pics on biomechanicalbricks.com

Re: Hulk smash! Hulk race! Hulk go fast!

(...) Hey Adrian, that's awesome! I'm really glad you have started building Turbocycles again! This bike is very well proportioned, and looks really big! (though not as big as my (URL), I think) ;-) (URL) "Breathe deep, seek peace, fly high." -- (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Hulk smash! Hulk race! Hulk go fast!

(...) Adrian, RAAAGH indeed! Turbocycle for Hulk TERRIFIC!¬ (...) The amount of tech stuff is just right...I can picture the large green blur on an expansive strip blowing away any daring opponents. ;] -Andrew (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Hulk smash! Hulk race! Hulk go fast!

Hulk like go fast. Hulk build turbocycle. Hulk crush competition. RAAARGH! (URL) to Andrew Saada for the nifty Hulk design. It inspired me to add to the Turbocycle League again, bringing the total up to 16 turbocycles Adrian (21 years ago, 4-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build) !

Re: A use for those 7111 droid wings...
