  Re: LEGO Cable-Stayed Bridge

(...) Cool! I especially like the photos where it's filled with LEGO cars of all sorts! Well done! If this was seven years ago, I wonder what you build today! Best regards, /Tobbe (URL) SPAM when e-mailing) (22 years ago, 7-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

  MOC Sparrow

Hello again, I've been frustrated with "builder's block" the past few weeks. Sometimes the pieces just won't come together. So this weekend I worked from an already established framework. I built an extended Jedi Starfighter frame and came up with (...) (22 years ago, 7-Apr-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc)

  LEGO Cable-Stayed Bridge

Hello, Here is a link to pics of the 30,000 piece cable-stayed bridge I built 7 years ago after the suspenson bridge. The first two pics show as it appeared in my basement. The remaining three pics show how it appeared in the front window of the (...)   Re: New MOC: Ghostbusters Ecto 1

Great work! I just love it ! You really detailed it nicely without loosing the simplicity of the car. The front of the car is really good lonnkig too. I'd love to see plans for this! It would go well with my Poster of the Month page : (...) (22 years ago, 7-Apr-03, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Question Regarding Ball Joints

Personally I think they suck. The range of motion is very limited and if you exceed that limit, the two halves of the ball pull apart and joint breaks. POP! End of story. You could remedy this by adhering the two halves together with glue but then (...) (22 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Question Regarding Ball Joints

(...) I just ordered some from bricklink. I had the same idea but unfortunately I don't think they work well as joints. They could have made the ball joints better if they made it a full ball instead of half. Hope this helps. (22 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  new site

Hello, I've read posts here for years, but have made relatively few posts of my own. I blame it all on a mechanical engineers natural laziness. Anyways, I overcame my laziness enough to put up some pages of my Lego stuff on my website. You'll find (...) (22 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space) !

  Question Regarding Ball Joints

Just wondering, How strong are the new ball joints in the Geonosian Fighter and AT-TE? I'm (slowly) building a mecha and debating with myself whether to buy some for leg joints. The mecha will be a quadped (sp?). I've heard the joints are fairly (...) (22 years ago, 6-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)
