Re: That's it, my mind is gone (New Mech)

This is disturbed. Great articulation, and of course, beautiful tail. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Minotaur

Yow! Great cockpit, just can't get enough of that hinging action! Gotta say though, the head is my favorite part. I agree with Tony, the ankles look funny on a mecha of this size. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

(...) Your bridge is very impressive!!! I have viewed your Sidney Harbour Bridge previously through surfing the web.   Re: A G-G-Galidor Mech?

As much as I hate the Galidor line, I say that this is quite pimpalicious. The legs and feet are just great! I really dig the feet, they are my favorite part second to the head. What did you use for the shoulder? t (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: MPM-CRT1

Cool. I like the bits of joint pieces sticking out. The tank itself has a weird deformed-mech look to it, that I think works well. Almost looks like a mech torso minus hands and with treads instead of legs. And the little background thing is neat as (...) (22 years ago, 21-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: A really simple technical question

(...) I am no expert, other than what I have seen on the History Channel, but I think it should be clarified that not all tanks can fire while in motion. That was one of the advantages of the M1 Abrams during the first Gulf War. With it's high-tech (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: A really simple technical question

(...) Yes indeed! I've been looking at pictures of armor, and I couldn't figure out the specific differences, though I'd noticed the greater range of howitzers. Some of them are just downright scary, shooting over the horizon and whatnot. Thanks for (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: A really simple technical question

(...) From what I know (as a guy that used to ride in those howitzers :), tanks are much more heavily armored, faster, and can shoot while in motion. In contrast, howitzers have very light armor, and have to be "deployed" in order to fire - they (...) (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  A really simple technical question

Hello all you military-savvy folks out there! In my ignorance, I have a simple question for your expertise: What distinguishes a tank from a self-propelled howitzer? Thanks for your insights--please redirect follow-ups as necessary. Dave! (22 years ago, 20-Mar-03, to lugnet.build.military)
