Re: Pics and Comments on New Adventurer Sets

(...) Tactlessly responding to my own post. Did I say "Tibetan?" obviously I meant "Sherpa", since the set name does refer to Mount Everest. (23 years ago, 15-Dec-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: What do you sit on when you build?

Hey Rev. I thought of something when I read your post. Have you seen those camping chairs where you sit on the ground but it has a back support? They fold up for backpacking. You lean back a little but you could pull the coffee table up a little (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.storage)

Re: What do you sit on when you build?

I can't say I'm still man enough to keep all my LEGO in one enormous unsorted pile like my childhood collection, but these days I sit myself down amongst the bins on a regular (...)   New joints

Hey all! Some people have been finding some new SW sets around, and I was wondering - has anyone had a chance to play with some of those new large ball joints?   Some more mutilation concepts

The Brick-brick mutilation is based on a repetitive masonry pattern on the side of a 1x4 brick. The 1x4's can either be staggered (crossing lines when stacked) or vertically stacked. If staggered then a 1x2 is needed as well for the ends. Also if (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: What do you sit on when you build?

(...) When building sets, I have a silver champion box (with compartments) that I empty the bags into, then sit on the sofa with it on my knees.   Re: What do you sit on when you build?

Re: LEGO (SNOT) Mosaic: The Mad Hatter

Re: LEGO (SNOT) Mosaic: The Mad Hatter

(...) Didn't TLG themselves pick that one up? Anyway, very clever building technique Eric. It gives a much better look to the final picture than having them all the same way.
