Hey John, This looks really nice. It preserves all of the key features of the original, but in addition to freeing up space it will also free up a lot of elements (all those windows, railings, blue slopes, etc) for future projects. Hmm..very interesting. I think I'll be hard pressed to come up with the parts as I've basically dwelled in Space all these years. Um, that didn't quite come out right. We were at Legoland CA over the weekend... The main cables ARE made from 2x2 round bricks, and the vertical cables use 1x1 round bricks. Alrightey then, There's been so many good responses that I've decided to ditch the poll idea as unecessarily delaying the whole process. I can't wait to see some creations. So...
