  Microscale City - Kehaar

Hey, all! I've just been playing around, trying to learn a little about MLCAD, and liked the microscale stuff by Paul Hertzog and Jeremy Sproat. So I virtually made a few buildings and locations just for fun. Please LMKWYT. Folder's at: (URL) and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: More contest Brew-ha-ha

I gots DA BIGGEST freaking gun would be totally lopsided if Klaupacius (bryan) entered one of his gundams, perhaps mecha/gun ratio would be good? That's my favorite category. DEFINATELY going to have to enter this... Awaiting rules, Lego bulk (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Contest....Maybe...If you really wanna.

Cool, I'm down. I got my catagory all picked out. I just suggest plenty of builing time and I'm sure we'll see interesting entries. Hey, maybe we could come up with a catchy name for the contest. Legomaster (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  A bunch of new MOCs

Here is my first attempt at a 'real' Mecha (URL) is not nearly as refined as most of what I see, but it does have folding wings. Here is a bunch of miscelaneous small craft. (URL) FL-435 is my main fighter design. There are also 2 prototypes of that (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mega Bloks M1A1 Abrams Tank

(...) You know, now that I think about it, has the M1A1 been used in combat anywhere *except* desert terrain? Regardless of Desert Storm Part Deux, I suppose a case could be made for sand camo as the "default" color for that kit. Tamiya's had a nice (...)   Re: Machine Gun Chains

I tend to go for the technic track which is just under one brick wide, but this only looks good on big machine guns and automatic cannons. Magnus (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: More contest Brew-ha-ha

(...) I do hope that everyone understands that you are required to make NEW creations for this contest. Only mechs/mechas created during the span of the contest will be accepted. I will provide a whole lotta time to build, but it needs to be some (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Mega Bloks M1A1 Abrams Tank

(...) <sarcasm alert! :-) > (...) While I agree with the above, I think Dan might referring more to the fact that this model is being released in desert camo (gee, for use where?), then that it's a military model that is well done and meeting the (...)   Re: Mega Bloks M1A1 Abrams Tank

(...) I have to agree with you Dave. Megabloks may not be original, but it gives people what they want and for a lot better price. I'm not saying lego is bad, but some of the stuff they have been coming out with is over priced and lacking in (...) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: More contest Brew-ha-ha

(...) SNAP! Now that sounds like fun! Im gonna have to start fixing up all my models! We can enter more than one entry though, right? I have some smaller mechas (yes mechas) that i wouldn't mind showing off as well as some of my big 'ol mechs :) (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  More contest Brew-ha-ha

Alrighty, I have come up with the catagory outlines after reading the suggestions here and the e-mail I received today. There are seven (7) catagories right now. maybe more if you guys can think of some more fun ones. As for the idea of mechs and (...) (22 years ago, 29-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Top idea! I have just gotten into some real high-detail mech building. And the two categories is a really cool idea. I'm in the middle of a model I could enter at the moment but I can't tell whether it's a mech or mecha :D. I say have the (...) (22 years ago, 29-Sep-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
