Re: Starship RPG to Start Soon

(...) Dan et al, I like the general idea of these kinds of games/shared settings. But I am still trying to figure out what the technical requirements for participants are. Does a player need to have a digital camera (or other easy means of posting (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.gaming)

Re: Monkeypede - with brown left minifig arms

(...) Hello Shiri, It's not hideous, it's ... fascinating. It's life, but not as we know it! It's something that my separated from the left half, right half liniar non-lateral thinking male brain never would have dreamed of to come up with. In other (...)   Mark Twain

I looked at the tan torso on the 'scared' guy in the new studios sets (werewolf, vampire, etc.) & I immedeately thought of a Samuel Clemens a.k.a. Mark Twain minifig. I suppose one could use the minifig as a cool narrarator in an animated or (...) (22 years ago, 6-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: John Deere Mecha

(...) Hey, I smell a new fad coming guys! We're dumb enough to drive Hummers on the freeway. Why not one of these!! I heard that Arnold Schwartzenegger already has one on order. I guess he'll have to drive it in the emergency lane since it only goes (...) (22 years ago, 6-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Monkeypede - with brown left minifig arms

Hey all! My first complete creation in over a year consists of 30 pieces, but it is probably my most creative creation ever. This, fellas, is the height of my skill so far. ;-) The Monkeypede. A hideous yet cute creature. This is a centipede, whose (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.events.brickfest) !

  Deathscythe Hell Buster Shield

Deahtscythe Hell’s Buster Shield (together with the 1/100 version) Measuring 43 x 26 cm (that’s about 16.5 by 10.5 inches) (URL) has taken me a long time to accumulate enough pieces to build the shield and it isn’t exactly a 1 to 1 copy, but I am (...)   Re: Battleship Soon Beginning Construction, Need Ideas and Tips

(...) To strengthen my new (6 ft. long) ship, I used ventral and dorsal spines with lateral cross-beams every 32 studs and extensive compartmentalization. The dorsal spine also serves as a support for the plates that will cover the ship. Due to my (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Burned-Out Building

You know, so many (& myself) make buildings intact, when something like this comes along we forget that they're made out of little pieces. I've never seen any "damaged" Lego creations before. It's a very unique, and great building! (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

  Re: John Deere Mecha

(...) I'm confused. How does a tree harvester produce minimal impact on terrain? If you're gonna clear a forest, why bother stepping lightly over the undergrowth? Sure, not everyone who purchases this will be out to clear a forest, but then how many (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New MOC: PHOD

With all the pods being built, I had to make one too. It had to be different though, and of course had to have stowable landing gear. It actually took a surprisingly long time to build (a few hours) to get it to look like I wanted it too. So take a (...)
