| (cross posting on Build, originally in technic) Hi all, So I've come out of the dark ages finally and decided to join lugnet to bask in and osmose the combined (astounding) wisdom of the builders here. Haven't done much since coming out of dark ages (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.build)

| Don't do it! Or if you do, make it look like you didn't! Here's pnuematic humanoid hand, albeit at 1:1 scale. Might be able to scale it down, though. (URL) you have to make a pincher, add extra fingers, even if just for looks. (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| Heh...I do agree about the name myself (not to mention it doensn't fit the model). It was a suggestion from a friend, and I was such a rush to post the pics. The name shall be changed...any suggestions? I'm definitely up for those =) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| Great advice from the DR.!!!! You see through to the quandry. A purely mechanical claw hand would detract from the form I am attempting to create. And while a mildly disguised claw hand would ...ehhh be ok, I'll have to settle on something. The (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| I've been enjoying your work for some time now, espcially as I'm also a Lego aviation enthusiast. I think it's great how virtually every plane remaining plane I can think of that I'd like to see minifig scale 'brickified' you've already done! F-15 (...) However, your mecha usually go beyond just the functional - they are also artistic expressions. It seems to me (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

|
| Folks, I'm in a bit of a quandry. Traditionally I don't like "Claw Hands" meaning the kind you see on a Submersable Sub or better know as Pinchers or Grabers. My problem: I'm making a Mid-Sized Technic Fig Scale Robotic Mecha. (4ft.tall biped) I (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.robotics)

| Hey all, Well, the time has come to officially announce the first ever 'MOCM' award given out by Land Of Bricks ( (URL) ). It was a hard decision to pick the first ever winner of this award but after lots of narrowing down I came up with a MOC that (...) | Hello, I like the Mecha, they are cool, Very cool, I have one problem, I have serious issues with namming your Mecha and Folder "Murder" That's really not right and it bothers me.
