  Re: New MOC: Red Building

(...) Good Gravy, those buildinga are incredible. I would never have thought to use binoculars for window cornace. All the different parts used in the facades are as close to real in anything I've seen in Lego. "Mini-Fig Legs!!!" ROFL. Great Work, (...) (22 years ago, 22-May-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  DNA Model Using Technic Parts?

Does anyone have any good ideas for constructing a model of DNA? I'm looking for construction ideas to create a "functional" model. It is preferable that the model can be manipulated from a ladder shape to the normal helical DNA shape (i.e. (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)

  Re: New MOC: Red Building

(...) Didn't consider that (I'm kind of a suburb guy) Perhaps I'll have to put a box on the roof where falcons can live! >:-) (...) Sand red... I forgot that I've built a little apartment out of sand red and never took pics-- I should do that (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Massive FoundryDX Update

(...) I really like the new site layout, although I miss the levitating gundam... Your site has a really clean, professional layout to it. Most companies I've seen don't have such clean layouts... As for your models, well, you know how I feel about (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Red Building

(...) Very nice. I think the idea of using the legs is great, although I would have tried to make the cornice more prominent by having it protrude by 1/2 or a full stud and making it a different color. I like the window architecture, looks great (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: New MOC: Red Building

(...) So what you are saying is "nice pants"? ;-) Thanks, Bruce. Yes, necessity truly is the mother of invention; I went to Bricklink and did a search for all of the available parts in dark red and went from there. I doubt that I would have come up (...)   Re: Massive FoundryDX Update

Yes, Very nice site, I'm not bothered by mechas but everything else is exactly along the lines I would like to go with professional MOC retail (but probably better!) Tim (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Massive FoundryDX Update

(...) You've got all the right elements: clean professional web site, nicely sized well-designed models that cater to anime fans, plans on CD, even the boxes for your kits look good. Very impressive. Though it clashes with Mladen's idealism ;-), I (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New MOC: Red Building

Nothing too earth-shattering here, but I did have some fun with the use of different textures (with some creative assistance from my son Ross).   Re: How do collect?

(...) Hi, I build mostly in a castle theme, but I buy across themes for pieces and minifigs that fit my building plans. Often this is outside of pure Castle, e.g. Star Wars and Harry Potter have good parts for my purposes, and I got some Western (...) (22 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.build)
