  Re: SM-388 Mech

Thanks Tony I think any lego piece can be used in some model for good. Hey if Jon Palmer can make a Duplo Egg popular then there's hope for any piece :). i've always wanted to do some sort of mech leg with those arms, and now I finally did. Now on (...) an exceptional model in many ways my favorite part is the use of slopes and hinges on the bottom, that are 'hatches' that fold open to expose various bits inside the belly of the ship. everyone does that, but NOT with slopes, and it was really cool (...)   Re: Tony's Lego Stuff Online

(...) I'm not surprised- Geocities definitely measures it hourly. I was curious at one point to see how much bandwidth you actually get, and looked all through the help area to no avail. I had to email them to find out. I think it was 2Gb of (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.publish)

Thanks Eric I find it hard to make something small and keep it looking half decent. Now I can put those alpha team arms away and let them collect dust again :). Jamie Neufeld www.ozbricks.com/jneufeld/ (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Bunch of new MOC's

Your ships are great! I like the conservative design that you use for each one. They seem to use each part to depict each ships character. Very well done.   Re: NOM-02 Deathscythe Hell

(...) It's hard to know if the legs are too short from a camera's perspective. Wide angle shots tend to distort things. I usually assume my mecha legs are going to be too short and design then to be easily lengthened above or below the knees when I (...) (23 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Josh, Quite an armada you two have put together....cool stuff. It would be great to see several of the ships in a diorama of some sort. I always have difficulty with any suggestions as I believe each builder measures against his/her own internal (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

The little ship fighting the Implacable looks really cool too, but doesn't seem to have (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) alternative to those boring grey ships I've seen lately. The use elements fron the newer sets also is used quite nicely. Especially the green! Green rules! Just a small suggestion. You might want to add a break away section to the ship where (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Bunch of new MOC's

Hi everyone! I've had these ships finished for a while, but I haven't gotten around to scanning/posting them until now. Here's the link to my brickshelf page: (URL) of the ships were a joint effort between myself and my younger brother Mitchell. As (...) (23 years ago, 18-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
