Re: New BattleSpace MOC - Cyclone Anti Troop Tank

(...) Thanks, Jeff. Thanks for pointing that out, I never would have noticed! It shows how much *more* thought is required for a model :D Zac (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: Need Building Tips

(...) A couple of thoughts that I would throw out for consideration is first making sure you have enough bricks of one size or another to complete the project. This might determine whether you go with the 1x or 2x (or end up having to mix the two). (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) Hi Conrad! I'm smiling, because you're asking some fundamental questions, all of which will result in 12 different answers from 12 different people. Here's my take on it: (...) This is completely at your discretion; if you are a stickler for (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Need Building Tips

(...) Congrats! (...) Interiors are strictly optional. If you have a building with lots of visibility into the interior, having some 'stuff' in there will add some interest and some 'wow' factor. I'd guess about half the buildings you see on the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  Need Building Tips

Hi. I played with Lego when I was young, and now after a long "dark time", my four and six year olds have gotten me back into it. I have seen many MOCs on brickshelf and personal websites, and am frankly humbled by what I see others creating. I have (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: female cat mecha

(...) Thanks Chris-- you are the king of joints, and I have to thank you profusely for sharing your knowledge with the group! Many thanks! As to being different-- well, it sucked in highschool, but I got over it. ;) stuart (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: female cat mecha

(...) hee hee-- thanks! (...) The head came first and 'drove' the whole model, the hands were inspired by the innovations in your Wolf. As to the colour scheme, well, it's an old standby, but coming from the undisputed master of colour, compliment (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: LEGO wedding cake

(...) that way with a real cake? I have never noticed that manner of slicing in a real cake, but I don't go to many big weddings. Very ingenious. Any customers for it yet? Would the slices be glued? --Bill. (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: NOM-02 Deathscythe Hell

(...) Very Cool. Very cool indeed! Now, take about twenty or thirty dollars, go onto bricklink, and buy yourself a mess of wormgears; then incorporate them into this gundam.   Re: female cat mecha

(...) Excellent job! Your mecha are always so creative and different from the standard confines of what is gererally built here. I especially like the knees, and how you squeezed a worm gear in there...pure magic! Later, Chris (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
