Time to vote in the Town building contest!

If you've entered the Town building contest, or registered to vote, don't forget to vote! If you entered or registered and you didn't get an "Invitation to Vote" from me, email me and I'll send it out to you again. There's still time to register and (...)   Re: mylegomaster.com just got better

(...) Excellent content! A well organized layout, but like my site it has a relatively simple "old school" HTML style. There's so much artistic stuff you can do now. You're an artist, your site should be more whimsical. (I'm starting to use (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Drawbridge help needed!

(...) Actually, its quite solid (or was - it is nolonger with us, may it rest in peace). Held two trains (its a double track bridge) quite easily, no problem. The counterbalance mechanism was quite study also. (...) Hmm... Well the space is mainly (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Drawbridge help needed!

(...) LEGO weights are great but can cost some bucks, $4.95 a pair (2K2 catalog) and that excludes shipping. (Save the money for Technic beams) Low cost alternative, and I've heard the train guys mention this, roll of pennies. Just make a container (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Drawbridge help needed!

(...) You can get LEGO weight elements (9936) from Pitsco. Very handy. Also, the counterweight doesn't have to go below the bridge - you can use cables with a pulley system, or something like this bridge at Constitution dock (URL) I wish I had a (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Drawbridge help needed!

(...) Your bridge has definately a very impressive mechanism. It does look a little fragile, but I'm pretty sure it holds solid (it holds a train, right? :-). It is very complex, nonetheless. Isn't there any simpler (so to speak...) solution? One (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Drawbridge help needed!

(...) Pedro, Here's my version of a draw bridge. Its the first listing under "Bridges" on my site. (URL) a Bascule bridge based on a real one I had a picture of in some train magazine. I got the counter balance to work fairly well. I could balance (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  Drawbridge help needed!

Hi all, I am currently building a small drawbridge for my train using Technic elements, but I came across a difficulty which I was not expecting to be so problematic: the need of a "counter-weight". I did know I was *probably* gonna need one. And (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.pt)

  Re: A minifig scale F-14....

I like! Nice use of the new slopes on the nose, gives it quite a predatory look. This reminds me, I need to build a warplane again soon. Magnus (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: T-ANK R19

(...) I just started the next mech. I saw David Thomas Jr.'s Fembot the other day, so I am trying to emulate a female form into a kick A fighting machine!! I have never done a female form before, so it will either be really bad or somewhere way (...) (23 years ago, 27-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
