  New MOC: Windy Point Inn

Here is my second entry for the Town Building Contest. The name of the building is Windy Point Inn and it is a Bed & Breakfast located on the shore of Big Bear Lake.   Re: Speaking of gundam inspiration...

(...) I've been referring some of my e-mailers to your site too, since you build more reasonably sized mecha and will have plans available for them. My minifig scale gundams just aren't practical for most people to build, even if I made LDRAW plans. (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: LEGO Cover Art: NYU

Eric, I was re-reading the part on you site about the shipping of un-glued models. One trick I found that works well (mainly trains, but should work for other models as well) is to wrap the models in Saran <sp> Wrap or Kitchen Cling Wrap, whatever (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  The Galactic Shipyard needs Villains

I've added a new section in the GS for all of the lowlife(forms) in the galaxy: The Black Hole. You'll find it in the Character section along with the Pilots and Captains. The Black Hole is for any space fairing jerk out there. From the evil (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  Re: Inspiration...?

(...) Well speaking of mecha designs in particular, without a doubt the VF-1X series of variable mecha from Macross/Robotech completely facinated me as a child. Actually getting one of these in a toy version in 1985 was even more of an experience (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Hello Bryce- I just was looking around at your brickshelf account, when suddenly it hit me. Your Quetzcoatl (I think that's the name) looks more than a bit like a Balrog from LOTR. Just a thought... Ryan (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Boeing P-26A

(...) Hey I like your cockpit sidewall solution, that's a good way to make room for a minifigs' arms in a 4-wide fuselage. Overall, a neat little moc. Post some photos or pov-ray renders if you get a chance. Take care, Gary (23 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

  Re: Inspiration...?

Re: Mountain Town - A train module experiment

When we setup for the jackson street roundhouse, unload and setup ran about 3-4 hours with 8 people. Mostly a lot of standing around however because it was our first time putting it together. -john3 (23 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Boeing P-26A
