Re: the BRICKHOUNDS Assemble ,,,,and Go!!

(...) I love what you have done here. Very nice! I was hoping to come up with headgear like that to emulate Mecha pilot helmets like the ones seen on GASARAKI. The weapons are amazing. I wish I had all those parts to make those weapons for my (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: LEGO Mosaic: Suicide King

(...) Yeah, then after he makes the giant poker chips, Eric can invite us all over to his yard for a game. Until he got his glasses, I would have liked a set of these cards for my Dad. :) (...) ditto. Ben Roller (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: To post or not to post...

Hey, no prob. I hear ya. Definetly keep tabs on the haps. Your a part of the group. I'm suppossed to be on reprieve, so you may not see anything from me for awhile either. Legomaster www.mylegomaster.com (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Just some pics of my MOC's

(...) Good work! As you already have guessed the Simpsons are very nice! Even a gearhead (Technic) like me appreciates those mini-figs :) /Tobbe (URL) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

Just some pics of my MOC's

I just got around to taking some pics of my MOC's. Some of these MOC's I have had for awhile and some I made just last night. Most might get a kick out of the simpson family made from minifigs. All the pics can be found on Brickshelf under MOC's. (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

That's Incredible and then some! The only roller coaster I have ever seen made of Lego is the one built by David Mercil. He used a different method for the tracks though. It never accured to me to use train tracks. (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

To post or not to post...

Due to lack of funding and a decent camera, i am unable to post any new pics into this or any other newsgroup. So, once payday or B-day comes around, i won't be able to post anything. Don't fret, i will still add my un-doubtedly loved critique of (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

(...) When my uncle's pickup truck came up for sale I bought it with transporting the roller coaster in the back of my mind. :) That is the first key element - a canopy covered full size pickup bed. Inside there is a carpeted bed liner with benches (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) Only 51 to go (and they only get easier after the face cards)... Once again, incredible work! Derek (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

Re: I finally finished my roller coaster!

(...) Glad you liked it. :) The up and down curves are 4.5V track layed on its edge so that the normal tops of two rails face each other. When you use curved track, the sides are now the tops and are now curved. 4.5V track has an advantage over 9V (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO Mosaic: Suicide King

(...) Soon you'll be doing them in the dark. After that, the only step left is to build mosaics without bricks. A true Lego mosaic Zen master. (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  LEGO Mosaic: Suicide King

Well folks, I just finished another mosaic. This is the smallest one I've ever done: only 6 extra large grey baseplates back it. Interestingly on this project I did NOT use Pixelego or any other mosaic computer aide... I did this one freehad: (URL) (...)   Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

(...) How about using the 10x10 nets? (URL) They'd make a very sheer membrane, especially since they're made out of black string, but they are bigger than the capes. You could attach 1xN plates to the nets to make them more visible. Or overlap the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

If I use cloth, there will be about 4 or 5 pieces per wing. If nothing else, I can try converting the finished dragon into a wingless variety. Thanks for the compliment and the suggestion. Travis Dickinson (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

I think my dragon is going to be too big to effectively use the cape idea. The capes would probably make good contour feathers or large scales, but I'm not crazy enough to try that. As for Vader's cape, it would be cheaper (but less pure) to cut up (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Use of cloth in MOCs

I think the suggestion about the plastic film wings is the most feasible one for the scale I'm working. I think I know how to implement this. I just have to acquire a number of those wings. I'll probably carry through with the bat like wings as (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New (well sort of) MOC: Guardian II

Hey man I like the blue and tan color scheme, seems to go well together!! That is one serious beam saber. Well, I guess it would'nt be considered a saber, more like a beam broadsword!! It looks like you've been buying some new AT sets (minifig). (...) (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New (well sort of) MOC: Guardian II

I like it! Especially the shoulder mount rifle, nice. Spooky pilot too. I'd bet he's on the Nesquick Bunny most wanted list. (...) Bring it on! Mark Neumann (23 years ago, 28-Feb-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
