I've been thinking that the spearheads from a pair of minifig spears are about the right shape and size for a minifig elf's ears... ;-) Now that I have a Dremel tool, I've been thinking of doing this myself (for elves for CastleWorld, in my case). (...) I've been working on a couple of things. Mostly, doing more R&D on joint systems. Here's a new (?) way to stiffen those 1x4 plate hinges: 1) Find yourself som wire. I thought this was a fine first mech. The next few things you might want to work on is softening up the edges a little bit, and make the legs a little more mobile.
