(...) and all was good. (...) mecha. I was picturing armies of minifigs bouncing across the battlefield in these things screaming, "Bonzai!!! Ker-chirp!!!!" in the mike. Stacks and stacks of 1x1 plates aren't structurally sound, though you could make it 2 studs thick and use clear 1x2 plates tied through to the front layer. That makes it twice as expensive, though, and still not overly solid. What you really need to (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

(...) Yep. I actually got the idea last night. I had gone to Mark's house to take him some Appleseed manga that I had borrowed, and I was looking at some Buy-onicle parts in one of his bins. (...) funny, i thought cornice as well, but I haven't purchased any of those parts or sets to try it out. looks excellent, i'll definiately try that if i get the chance someday. somebody, should set up an ftx page (off of build.arch?) to showcase (...) I actually have been considering this for some time. Last year I started buying 1x1 red-trans bricks and plates (I have several hundred of each currently)... Nothing has come to fruition yet. eric (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)
