Re: Nebuchadnezzar Hovership from The Matrix

(...) Actually, I have a computer with DVD player in my computer room, so I'd just freeze it on certain scenes then wander over to my building table to work on the next feature. If I wanted screen caps, I think I can just do a print screen and past (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Nebuchadnezzar Hovership from The Matrix

(...) Whoa! What else can I say, that's amazing, and I'm sure it was a major trial to research this by watching the Matrix repeatedly (though if you had the divx, you could freeze it and screen capture images). Now I just convince my wife that I'm (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Nebuchadnezzar Hovership from The Matrix

(...) Not really, once you pull away the side panels you could just put it in there. It'd look fine and you could take it in and out at whim. "Neo, did you take the sentinel for its walkie yet?" The (...) or click hinge columns, friction finger (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Nebuchadnezzar Hovership from The Matrix

(...) Perhaps the "dinosuar tail" pieces used in black in the Alpha Team squid set would do well? --Josh (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Cornice Idea & new brick color

Hello, When I first saw the new brown part in the Ewok Attack set on the back of the Speederbike, I immediately thought 'cornice'. This is what I had in mind: (URL) this folder there is also a quickie facade I through together using the new 'rust' (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

(...) It only seemed natural to adapt it to mecha. Besides, I'm a sucker for things with guns... (...) You're right about the beak. Eagle's aren't quite so pointed. It would be more appropriate to level it off then have the front of the beak drop (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

I have to admit, I've smothered my screen with drool looking at his dragon and can't deny that they were an influence. He's removed some of the construction pics though so I'm not sure how his are put together anymore. On Black Eagle the flight (...)   Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

(...) You really only get this sense with articulated mecha like this, not solid sculptures. The feather design on the wing is very organic and natural looking. I'd call this the Black Buzzard though, it has a roughness that is more like that bird, (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Nebuchadnezzar Hovership from The Matrix

(...) All I can say is that words alone don't get across just how very cool this one is, Adrian. Great Job as usual! -Dave (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Ballad of GG

And they fall to the demise of the big man once again, but this time, fully grown, but only a few thousand years old, GG takes back the Q ball and lives to shine it's translucent neon Green parts in the black light of Willie McBrides once again.   Re: MOC update: Rapier Space-Fighter

Not a bad depiction of the Rapier. The only suggestion that I have is to shorten the nose and lengthen the barrels. If you are interested, I can upload some CAD images of what I'm suggesting. Can't say that I was impressed with the fighter when I (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Advanced Armored Ground Transport

(URL) little (well, semi-little) model has been sitting on my desk for months. I meant to post pictures earlier, but my computer went to hades in a leaky bucket. anyway, this is an AAGT, inspired somewhat by the APC in the movie "Aliens" (along with (...)   MOC update: Rapier Space-Fighter

(URL) I just added pics of the rapier carrying missiles. the inboard ones (with the 8t gears on the ends) are lightweight torpedos, while the outer ones are space-space missiles (designed to take down Kilrathi Fighters). I bring this up again (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC. Black Eagle Mech

That's very cool. It reminds me of Anthony Sava's dragons. It and my Black Widow Spider mech would look very cool in a giant robot menagerie zoo :) Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.space)
