  Re: Preview: Prototype for NOM-02

(...) doesn't even exist will get so many replys! Thanks to all of you! I am afraid however that once I post more images you will all see why this Gundam is only a prototype which will have to be demolished to build the real NOM-02. (...) Thanks for (...)   Re: Worth looking at!

(...) Yeesh -- they still take up 50% of one CPU on my dual PIII 933 at home. There's totally got to be a better way to get that effect. (Speed of the connection has nothing to do with it, by the way. The image is less than 8k. (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Second-hand LEGO shops [was Re: removing a really stuck neck from a head?]

(...) I would love to visit one, if just for the novelty value. Can anyone name a specific place? I'll add it to my "List of Places to Visit in the World" list. --Bill. XFUT: lugnet.market.shopping (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.market.shopping)

New MOC: Turbocycle/Mecha - The Morphosis

Hi all, Last weekend I threw another turbocycle together - The Morphosis. It can be found on the groundcraft page - (URL) was trying to make a "not too huge" turbocycle that transformed into something that resembled a mecha-bot. It's no Vertigo, but (...)   Re: Zero 5 - Ground Attack

  Zero 5 - Ground Attack

One of two new ground attack gundams I'm working on. (URL) destroyed 01 to build this new model (05). It expands on the joint technology of 04 with the addition of very strong geared knee joints (rather than a triangular locking arm arrangement). My (...)   Re: Preview: Prototype for NOM-02

(...) Good job. But if it only takes a couple of weeks to build, then that's too fast. Refine your style. Iteration is the key. And you can't view your design objectively unless you step away from it for a while. "K" (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: Yellow Hopper Truck

(...) Thanks! I'm very happy with the mirrors. They keep falling off, though... (...) Hmm, interesting point. My original fifth wheel design was beefer (solid bricks from the back of the cab all the way to the kingpin), but I wanted to make the (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

RE: New MOC: Yellow Hopper Truck

(...) Yah...I used the same size fifth wheel on a six wide truck as a 10/12 wide one. It worked a little better on the 10 wide :) (...) the brake hoses and the opening hood. But you asked me what I think, so I'll be honest... The trailer looks a bit (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)
