Yah...I used the same size fifth wheel on a six wide truck as a 10/12
wide one.  It worked a little better on the 10 wide :)

I like the way you did the mirrors!  I also like the little details like
the brake hoses and the opening hood.
  But you asked me what I think, so I'll be honest... The trailer looks
a bit short tho, and the portion of the tractor behind the cabin (where
the fifth wheel and stuff are looks a bit underdeveloped.  Real trucks
have a beefy ladder frame supporting the rear wheels and trailer hitch,
so I suggest making it at least a brick deep.  To make the trailer
longer, you don't necessarily have to change the hopper, just add a
triangular frame to the front and back, then place the rear wheels below
one end of the fram, and the kingpin under the other.  I know I've seen
dump trucks that look like that...I just can't find a picture.
