Thanks! I'm very happy with the mirrors. They keep falling off, though...

Hmm, interesting point. My original fifth wheel design was beefer (solid
bricks from the back of the cab all the way to the kingpin), but I wanted to
make the trailer hitch look like it sloped upward from the frame, so I changed
that. I'll look at some real trucks and see if I can get some ideas there.

I think I know what you mean. It's kind of halfway in size between the ones
that have two trailers and the single trailer.
What happened is that I first built the cab and then couldn't think of what to
tow behind it for a long time. I finally got the idea to do a hopper truck,
and stole ideas from the LEGO hopper rail car in the Shop @ Home catalog. But
I only had so many yellow slopes, and I was in a bit of a hurry...
I think I'd like to have a double-trailer version for the next attempt, but I'm
not sure when/if I'll get around to building it.
Thanks for the feedback, though, and I'll bear it in mind for my next truck.
Now that I've published this one it sort of feels set in stone for me, so I
won't be modifying it.
