  RE: Fully suspended Technic chassis

(...) (URL) I was wondering about the lack of beams ( I only looked at the front view ) Is there enough rigidity using ( ingeniously ) axles as frame members? This would, of course, be realistic since many classic roadsters used the space frame (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Fully suspended Technic chassis

(...) Well, I have already made a Beach Buggy, which is basically a Beetle with shortended wheelbase and a different body: (URL) didn't look at any pictures of a Beach Buggy when making it, but it seems I got some of the details fairly correct. At (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Fully suspended Technic chassis

(...) How about taking two cylinders out and making it a Beetle? That would be very cool, and I have yet to see a Beetle on the net (built out of Lego, that is). Very nice looking so far. Greg "I am not your broom!" Majewski citrusx__@yahoo.com (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Fully suspended Technic chassis

(...) There is still one missing part: The 2L grey 1998 style technic connector without toggle notches: (URL) I still haven't modeled the pistons and rods. I'll make the dat file available when these things are done. Fredrik (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Fully suspended Technic chassis

Hi, right now I'm in the progress of making a Technic chassis with the same wheels and roughly the same dimensions as 8440 and 8445 (and 2556). In addition, it has all round independent suspension (with one small shock absorber per wheel), front (...) (25 years ago, 30-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

z14 bevel gears (was Re: hinges and bevel gears, was Re: 60 degree problem

Okay, I'll bite -- how do you get 7/6 to be anywhere close to SQRT(3)? 7/6 is 1.167, and SQRT(3) is 1.732. Is there an additional 2:3 ratio hidden inside the "8880 transmission"? Also, I'm having a little trouble figuring out how the transmission (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

  Bass

Not like the fish, like the cleff. This is the grooviest minifig I have ever made, which isn't saying much, but ah well. I'm too lazy right now to make a real page for him, but I should get around to it later tonight. All criticism appreciated, and (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.build)

Art Deco (Moderne) buildings using log bricks.

I've been playing with some of those log bricks lately (mostly tan or white), and when you stack them up, they give a nice "Art Deco" appearance that a lot of old buildings in the 1920's and 1930's have - sort of a "Terra Cotta" sculptured look that (...)   Broken links (was Re: pneumatics & mindstorms?)

I can't get these links to work now. Can anyone find the image and post a new link to it? Maybe someone who actually downloaded it as Tim suggested? (...) (25 years ago, 28-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build)
