Recently I ventured into the Mecha construction field yet again, and have produced a four-legger which I am very proud of. (URL) are two flaws with the DAT. I could not correcly align the technic springs with the legs, so they appear slightly (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

hey guys- just noticed your postings while lurking... i too have used armored castle figs with space and racer heads for that "retro-tech" or "morden-day mounted knight" pilot look, just seemed kinda appropriate. anyhoo- the whole monkey pilot idea (...) (...) Have you thought about screw extractors? You'll need a hole in the post, that means drill if head post doesn't already have a hole in it.   Me 109 - WWII German Fighter
 
I've finished my latest MOC, a WWII-era Messerschmitt Me-109. I guess it's an Me-109E, since that's the only model with an pointed spinner. It's dimensions are 32-studs(span) by 50-studs (length), so it's a bit larger than what I usually build. I (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military)  
 
  removing a really stuck neck from a head?
 
This 2nd hand lego shop I frequent has a head that I really want but there is a neck still stuck inside it (its snapped off at the neck) Anyone know of a way to remove the neck from the head so I can use it? If its not possible, I wont buy it :) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Hey thanks guys for the help on IDentifying that part. I've been so out of the lego loop. And after seeing all these new parts, all sort of new Ideas and designs are multipling in my tiny brain.... I'm really excited that I've gotten some of the new (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)
