Me 109 - WWII German Fighter

I've finished my latest MOC, a WWII-era Messerschmitt Me-109. I guess it's an Me-109E, since that's the only model with an pointed spinner. It's dimensions are 32-studs(span) by 50-studs (length), so it's a bit larger than what I usually build. I (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military)

This 2nd hand lego shop I frequent has a head that I really want but there is a neck still stuck inside it (its snapped off at the neck) Anyone know of a way to remove the neck from the head so I can use it? If its not possible, I wont buy it :) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  thanks dave and geordan

Hey thanks guys for the help on IDentifying that part. I've been so out of the lego loop. And after seeing all these new parts, all sort of new Ideas and designs are multipling in my tiny brain....   Re: New! NOM Unit-01: Black Metal

(...) Thank you for your kind comments. To be honest, this isn't one of my favorites either, but also get a load of this, I found this guy at a Toys R Us after I constructed the Black Metal. I have listed it as an inspiration on the assumption that (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New turbocycle, with a twist!

(...) The ones that come to mind for me are the MOSPEADA bikes from Robotech. That would be tough-- transform from a bike not to a robot but to a battle suit. In Minifig scale, I believe some licenses would need to be taken. :) -JDF (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New turbocycle, with a twist!

(...) Actually, I haven't seen that site before, but it certainly is an interesting design. His has one up on me, in that his pilot stays in the bike the entire time, while mine doesn't (he'd be hanging in an odd position on the back if he stayed (...)   Re: New turbocycle, with a twist!

Impressive... I love it when great builders such as yourself challenge themselves and do something outside the norm. BTW have you seen this: (URL) amazing to see how two people execute similar ideas.   Re: New! NOM Unit-01: Black Metal

Good job Borislav! Although that isn't my favourite mecha from all the Gundam anime shows & movies, you've managed to capture the "feel" of it very nicely. I especially like all the thrusters, and those long arms are pretty sweet too. Hope to see (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Question...

Greetings. I have a quick question: Besides slowing the animations down for all the Clans, does anybody else have any suggestions for the other clans on my site, including the Drislogan? -- Mark Nelson LCC Command: (URL) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  New! NOM Unit-01: Black Metal

Hi everyone! This is my first new moc in nearly a full year, and boy, is it good to have a digital camera! The Neo-Oz Organization is now replaced by Neo-Oz Manufacturing, however story wise (when I get the story finished) the two will be unrilated. (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New turbocycle, with a twist!

The twist would be a surprise, but checking out the newsgroups I'm posting to, you can probably figure it out. It's called the Vertigo. Find it on the ground page. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Best mecha out there
