Re: GMC 6x6 2.5 Ton Truck

Shaun! Good to see a new model from you. As alwas you succeed in making a very inspiring creation. The last weeks everyone seem to concentrate on the ISCC contest. Have you submitted anything yourself? Regards Mattias (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

Eric, Like Chris, I thought you were headed in a completely different direction when I first saw the GG mech. I'm glad I was wrong! What's you've done with Gomgile simply has NO comparison in the mech world. Gomgile stands on it's own. So I have to (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  GMC 6x6 2.5 Ton Truck

Hi All, As promised, I finished up my GMC truck and took pictures of it this weekend. Known as the "Jimmy" and the "Deuce-and-a-half" (for its 2.5 ton rating), this workhorse was instrumental in all theaters of WWII. It's not an overly intricate (...) (...) Now witnes the firepower of this fully armed and operational battles station! Ok, so maybe this doesn't fit the case, but it is good to see the GG-Mech finally complete, and it is one hell of a beast. The whole thing is absolutely perfect, a (...)   Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

It's finally done! WOW! Truly stunning! The amount of parts used in this model probably rivals that of many collections. The detail level is also quite high, and many parts are very nicely contoured. New elements are used wonderfully as well. Here's (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

(...) Eric, this is a truly amazing mecha you've built here. I must say, when I saw the "bust" in L.A., I thought you were going to go in a different direction with the legs and lower part; but I love what you've done with it. Judging from the (...) Hey Brett! I'l tackle what questions I can and see what I can do! (...) We-ell, you never really can tell. Sometimes they appear, other times they don't.   Re: Gomgile; The GG Mech, a Grey - Green Biomechanoid.

Congrats. It's nice to see the big guy done. Simply, well, woof. I gotta know, what kind of stresses are on this beast? I've found that the bigger I go, I think I'm pushing the limits of Lego shearing factors. How heavy is it? How transportable? (...)   Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

As I posted in another message, I think 2002 is going to be a good year for Mecha. Very nice site. Thank you for the photo tips. I've been experimenting and trying to learn, not doing so great... Anyway, this will help, thanks! A couple of things: (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) LOL! (...) Thank you Mark! (...) Hmmm... That is actually an excellent idea! I would love to implement it, but it's just that I love sticking to the three-colours I choose for my models. You can see that in all of my 2001 design. I just (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: The Rider, Syron, & Hammer

Looks as if you got a good start here. The stuff your making looks like it might be pretty cool. (read on...) If what I'm seeing is correct, it looks like you made a technic sized armor suit. Good job, I've been fiddling with just that myself. I'd (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

he does it again. I don't know what more I can really say so I'll just tell you what came to my attention: Love the use of the big cylnder behind the cockpit. Snot use in cockpit, awesome. Colors and detail. Very nice. The color scheme is basic and (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: NH-1 'Eisen'

Good job. I get a feeling that 2002 is going to be a good year for mecha at the rate I've been seeing stuff come out. What make up the joints, just hinges? I'm guessing that you had to come up with some pretty stiff hinges to make him stay in all (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: THE FOUNDRY . . .

(...) This is a very professional site. I like the lanky quality of your mecha, sort of stylized like they leapt right out of an anime cell. They make super cool sets. You should be able to sell a bunch of these. P.S. Technically you can't sell a (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Let the BT1 voting begin!!!

(...) Huh?!? If I understand correctly, you want to vote for a model as if it were part of a different category than the one it appears under. I would assume this is the due to the fact that you really like two models in one category. Well Hop-Frog, (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)
