Re: New entry for ISCC: "Missing in Action" - Ju 52 airplane

(...) Dear Ben and Klaus Congratulations to an excellent model of a very famous W.W.II aeroplane. You have really caught the character of old lady, Tante-Ju.   little sculpture update: Blue's Clues

Now you may read that title and think that I actually modelled Blue herself (which would be an extremely cool sculpture, I think) but unfortunately, she's two tone blue, and you can't get light blue in bulk. Yet. Anyway, this is just a slightly (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

Ogel Command Calamari -(get the lemons and tartar sauce)

Well, I was inspired by the fact that the small squid only had 4 arms. Then I saw the post by Bradley Dale regarding his "Mutant Super Sub" and really got to building...   Re: My BT Contest Update: Is the Scrutinizer in the house?

(...) I like the message title you used, it got my attention. :-) I have no problem with a 1% variance on the piece count. It is no different than if you counted the extra pieces LEGO manages to throw in the box. In this case, you used those pieces. (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: A Journey in the Dark (LOTR MOC)

(...) Thank you! Yes, the statue is wearing the only white helmet I could find. This statue business is tricky. The detailing in the great hall is.... Italian. Some liberties in pretending dwarves build like Vitruvius, eh? In fact I only decided (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: A Journey in the Dark (LOTR MOC)

Erik, Very nicely done. Love the great hall picture... lots of details, and the colors look great. Is that a fireman's helmet on that center statue? It looks really good from that angle. Also, I like the columns in the last picture. I seem to recall (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Home-made One-way valve

Instead of pushing a pneumatic switch back and forth, you can use the old non-return valve: (URL) the pump to the middle hole, connect the air tank to the left hole and leave the right hole free. The old style pump will pull air out of the tank and (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build)
