  Mecha-Camera (not Mecha-Gamera)

(...) It depends, what specs are you looking for? A good 1.3-1.6 megapixel camera is down to *below* $200 in a lot of places. Mine is only 0.8, but it works well if I have a tripod to hold it steady...(The 1.3 mega- pixel machine, btw, was a (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: GG Mech update

(...) Be cautios! That foot looks very small for the mech you have. The problem with 2+ footers (out of personal experience) is that you can not afford for them to fall. It is not that I mind putting the whole thing back together, but the energy (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Mobile Armor

(...) Nice, nice, nice! But didn't you mean, Neue Ziel, Version 2, now in read? (URL) have much better pictures of the Neue Ziel on my hardisk but I have no idea were I got them from :( (...) opponents (and their I-Field generators)? (...) but why (...)   Re: TTT w/ wgb compact

oh ya totally, that's the way to go. Still pretty neat, I just got a chuckle when I realized that the box fits between the legs of the turntable. ;) Eric (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Me163 - WWII German Rocket Fighter

(...) Damn! I was hoping nobody would mention this plane. I've actually done one, but it kind of morphed into my previous post of the He219. I was thinking of redoing it now that picked up a few parts off Brickbay. I thought for sure nobody would (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: New Mobile Armor

Very unorthodox design Brian, reminds me of this mecha: (URL) really like this mecha, especially the arms and head. The torso is also nicely done, and the dark-grey & red colour scheme never gets old... ;-) (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  New Mobile Armor

The MA-01 "Cardinal"... A massive slab of armor slides away to give access to the cockpit... (URL) infernal machine comes to life and unfolds its tools of destruction...   Re: TTT w/ wgb compact

(...) I was trying to get away from applying torque to a single axle. I like driving the turntable directly with a worm gear under the big outside gear. Much stronger. (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Me163 - WWII German Rocket Fighter

(...) Wow this thing is great.Nice to you went for accuracy in the decals. To me it means you include all symbols from that era even if you deem it bad(which if you really look into history it's not) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: German Planes We'd Like to See

(...) [snippage] (...) I would definitely love to see an Me-262 ... I'm glad to hear that there are some of these in the works! Another one I'd *love* to behold would be a true minifig-scale B-17 (1 stud~1 ft ... I know it's not German, but what a (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

German Planes We'd Like to See

(...) The "wooden jet fighter" I think you're talking about is the He162 (Salamander), which *did* fly, however poorly. They even had an Erprobungskommando outfitted with the things, but they were strictly forbidden from engaging enemy aircraft. Or (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Red Baron's Albatros DIII

(...) Dear Drew, Richthofen flew several planes in WWI but the Albatros DIII was the one he painted red. More information is here: (URL) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Me163 - WWII German Rocket Fighter

(...) I'm not worried about the engines, actually. Its the annoying sloped nose and the angled body that I've been having trouble with. If you take a look at an Me-262 from the nose, you'll note that the body is almost triangle shaped, sloping into (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Me163 - WWII German Rocket Fighter

(...) Thanks! The nosecone started the whole thing - I was trying to figure out what I could use the 4x4 cone for, when I noticed it matched well with the 2x2 concave slopes. (...) Cool, I'd love to see it when your done. I had given up on doing (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Red Baron's Albatros DIII
