Re: G-meist goes public! well sort of,

(...) thanks, but I really don't know if it's talent per se, :-) I just practiced lot's, and have gotten a bit better, but not NEARLY as good as all of the rest of the guys in .mecha. :-) Yes, your mecha received tonnes of attention! As I'm sure (...) (23 years ago, 12-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: New mechas

Wow! that Zaku is amazing! I love that! That's has the articulation and detail of a PGG, but in a package a few inches high! now that is the perfect hidden skeleton mecha, I can't get over how cool that thing is! That Zeta is very cool too, goes to (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Important: Maybe a misunderstanding in the ISCC rules

(...) AH! Ok, thanks for the clarification! Sorry for the misunderstanding. Look for some entries from me soon! :) thanks, James (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

Important: Maybe a misunderstanding in the ISCC rules

Hello, Maybe a misunderstanding in the rules for the ISCC causes less entries. There is the sentence: "Do not send in contributions that are already known, as we want original works." It only means, that the entries need to were unknown or were not (...)   Re: New mechas

(...) Sun, I agree with you comments. I too thought that it was a picture of a toy. Damn I am stunned! I feel like I've been mecha sucker punched! Absolutely beautiful design! Later, Bryce (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  BT1 contest entry

Here's my first entry into the building contest (category V: Large Air): Panther-X This vessel has two detachable pod ships, and a compartment in the middle which hides a worker robot. I definitely would've paid $39.99 for this set. :-) (URL) images (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: New mechas

(...) (URL) saw these yesterday morning, and I am still stuned by the RX-78GP03 DENDROBIUM . For all practical reasons, that thing is perfect! While the MSZ-006C1 Z_PLUS doesn't look like much, it has a very nicely executated transformation and I (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Military Question: Tanks and Motorcycles

(...) The Germans did use motorcycles in combat - kind of a mobile light cavalry strike force. I'm not sure that they used them in conjunction with tanks. Hit and run missions or advanced strike teams to get to key locations. Not really stand-up (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.build.military)

Re: Military Question: Tanks and Motorcycles

{cross-posting to get more info.] (...) Please forgive me if my memory is faulty in this area, I am by NO MEANS one of these people that can tell you the make and model of armaments, aircraft, battleships, etc. -- but I seem to recall the tank and (...)   Re: My house is too big! : (

(...) Well, looking at the houses across the street from mine, most of them seem to have roofs about as tall as a story. But then if it's a Tudor style, sometimes the roofs are much much steeper. I agree with Amy's comment to add dormers or gables (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: bullfrog

(...) Thank you very much. Now, as to making it minifig scale, were you thinking of just changing the cockpit configuration, and maintaing the overall size, or were you thinking of scaling down the whole thing? In either case, all I've DATed is the (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mechas

(...) Oh, man, I saw these, too. I was completely astounded. Each one uses a number of unique building techniques-- that is to say, they each utilize assembly methods different from the next one. This is the thing that amazes me! It's not as if one (...) (23 years ago, 11-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mechas

The microfig dendrobium is fantastic, a beautiful origami. The old school combiner robot is super cool. I'd guess he had a high grade model as a reference to get the structural details, otherwise it becomes a very difficult design problem because of (...)
