The microfig dendrobium is fantastic,
a beautiful origami.
The old school combiner robot is super cool.
I'd guess he had a high grade model as a reference
to get the structural details, otherwise it becomes
a very difficult design problem because of all the dependancies.
The zaku is a nice exercise, though I'm not a big fan of ball joints;
I haven't accepted them as being real lego yet
(like all the throwbot and bionicle parts).
Definitely a skilled builder in this genre
with a lot of experience with mecha model kits.

| Browzing atound brickshelf today, I acme across these- www.brickshelf.com/c...i?m=galaga I'll be darned if that isn't a fully transformable lego mecha. And the zaku with removeable armor! Yikes, he's good, whoever it is. Also, stay tuned for new (...) (23 years ago, 10-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
