No one has done step 5 yet, so I decided to give it a try. If anyone feels it is bad, then please ignore this.   Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

(...) Try this link, (URL) . I did a search on Gnome rotary, as that was the most famous one I can think of. In short, the cylinders and crankcase rotate around the hollow, offcenter crankshaft.   Vought F-4 Corsair

My latest creation is a Vought F-4 Corsair. This is my first attempt at a real WW2 color scheme, and I'm quite pleased with the results. I used every single blue slope I own in the Corsair's long nose. Unfortunantly, I sacrificed a few details in (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

(...) Try "radial engine" or "radial rotary engine" the more correct term for the engine type in your search. Best DaveG (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.build.military)

Re: Opinion on the Sopwith Camel?

Re: When is a Slope not a Roof Tile? (WAS: we want....a shrubbery)

(...) Ummm... The 2xN slopes are 45 degrees. In LDraw measures, the sloped surface is 20LDU deep x 20LDU high. Of course, the 4LDU lip at the bottom of the part throws off the overall slope when you build with these pieces. The sloped surface on the (...) (23 years ago, 19-Nov-01, to lugnet.build)
