  Re: Dark Gundam site update

(...) Yes, that's really the reason for the new grey setting. It shows up the black better, but then the grey background itself shows up so well that it has to be moderately detailed, though it's difficult at such a large scale. The smaller hangar (...) oooo! check it...Stuart's at it again, neato, an attempt at the feminine persuasion (sp :-()!!! Hmm, wow check out the "hair" and nice chest. tough to make it slender like that. You know not many of these sorts have been made... I think Mutai has (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: marsbase update...

Cool, man I like how you rendered those, ahh um, did I look at this right? Is there a full shot I'm missing.....I'll check again. Either way very cool and very interesting, I have always liked your site! Excellent.... Eric (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: The Sophie Sky Math

COOL! Reminds me of those old Classic Space ships. Very nicely done Eric. ;-D (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Announcing PB4Y-2 "Privateer"

(...) Thanks! Actually I picked this plane partly because I wouldn't have as many tricky curves. The plane was known as the "flying boxcar" by some. The wings' airfoil shape was probably the hardest curve to get right. --Bill. (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.military)

RE: MOCkery entry: 8 wide Hearse

(...) Thanks, Bill! You wouldn't believe what a pain it is to add minifig heads to a structure when you're out of 1x2 plates with center studs in black. I had to make use of the hollow studs in 1x1 and 1x2 technic beams quite a bit. --Bram Bram (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

RE: MOCkery entry: 8 wide Hearse

(...) Thanks, Tomas! I found a door hinge that works pretty well, and looks reasonably clean while still being applicable in numerous situations, so I use it :) The only problem is that most of my hinges are the kind with the hollow studs. I like (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

RE: MOCkery entry: 8 wide Hearse

(...) Thanks, George! I was originally thinking about just copying the grill from my '59 Eldorado, but I thought that would be "cheating", so I decided to go for a later style grill. It was quite a challenge to put the wheels so far toward the front (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Hoverthing Contest

(...) Thanks, Mladen! I'm not sure what posessed me to build the jet parts other than the fact that I'd tried to use them on mecha without success and I really wanted them to work on something. Ultimately, this produced one of the first hoverthings (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: The end is nigh for Midnight MOCkery

Hello again- I wanted to give an update. My internet provider is having major server problems, so I have been checking on my contest when ever I can sneak online at work. Please be assured that I have received the final entries, and they will be (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

Re: MOCkery entry: 8 wide Hearse

(...) Bram, That's a great hearse, and I am in awe of your ability to create details at such a small scale (ie. the Caddy style grill and the martian arm scrollwork). George (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Announcing PB4Y-2 "Privateer"

(...) design. It looks like a mecha I would _not_ like to go up against. The details in the missle pods and engine area are great. And being a fan of good web-page design, I love the way the page sales-talks all the great new features of the model (...) (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Scans posted

(...) If you're referring to the lower arms of the Blok-Bot sets, I agree that they're of very limited utility. Not as limited as nearly the entire inventory of the Bionicle line, of course, but still somewhat limited. Dave! (23 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.year.2002, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Scans posted

(...) Holy crap! Anyone else noticing those (I assume clicky) new ball-joints in the arms of the sub? Sweet. I just hope the joints and the arms are seperate parts - could Lego be making Megabloks-style uber-specialized arms? let's hope not. On (...) Wow! Did everybody see the posted scans of the Final Duel sets?   Re: LEGO Sculpture: Emily The Strange
