The camera I use makes the top look larger than the bottom; unfortunately, the dark grey carpet makes a good background for the red and black. so I'm always shooting from above. Wow, I love these guys! The articulation in the arms is great for holding the gun, and the minifig fits perfectly. I've been looking for something like this for awhile; I've came up with several different ideas, but nothing this good. Overall great (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Chris, I really love the articulation of the head, and the legs. The sword and arms/hands are cool too. Now, I dunno if it's just me, but he looks a bit top-heavy...maybe it's just the angle it's photographed at? I dunno...at any rate, pretty (...) (23 years ago, 9-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Very nice Chris! I really like the sword! You've done a great job with the face using basic pieces. The skirt is particularly well done. The hinge on the front rocks. Also those hands are great. (...) You've made good use of the limited color of train doors in your collection. Regarding the Octan truck: again, an great use for an element in a new (to me) way. I am currentlly looking for my close up lenses (3 small lenses the screw onto the front of the regular lense) for my 35mm camera. Tho the focal length is very short and I was having problems with that (many of the pics from above the feet are out of (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

I played with the head design for quite a while. I still want a better way to connect the head but I am happy with how it turned out. once I found the technic wing tips I was fairly certain I was goint to use them but untill I made the head only 3 (...) (...) Plate 1 x 4 with Offset <part:4590> can be used also. When building my ferris- wheel, I needed to center a 6 x 6 plate in the middle of a 7-wide space. These did the job just fine. They may not disapear as seamlessly as the 1x2 plates with 1 (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-01, to lugnet.build)
