  Re: cthulhu

(...) Most amusing! Have you ever seen this slogan -- "Campus Crusade for Cthulhu -- for when you're tired of choosing the lesser of two evils"? FUT off-topic.fun. (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: cthulhu

(...) You mean Arthur Jermyn? That is indeed a fine piece of period racism! And one of too many to come out of Lovecraft's typewriter. Lovecraft was, sadly, a man of his time, and his reclusive New England lifestyle didn't really afford him a broad (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: cthulhu

(...) Cthulhu as a mecha? Well, heck, I like it anyway! Very clever. I couldn't get past Lovecraft's racism (I picked the wrong first story to read), but I always loved Whelan's cover art and Mark Ferrari's illustrations. Bruce (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: Keppler Space Ship Myase finally here!

(...) Kyle, That's an amazing ship, though I have a little trouble putting it all together, ie. where all the rooms are in relation to the ship. Thanks for all the great pictures, and the well thought out ship. How intentional is the pun? George (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) for itself! I've been waiting quite some time for your XKI BC to show off its "character" (in the sense of its story)...and it still looks just as marvelous. (...)   RE: Other appropriate MOCs...

(...) Well, the plane was built around the landing gear :) I got the idea for the gear and then built the plane as small as I could. (...) Thanks! I wasn't sure if red would look good at first, but it seems to work well with gray. (...) Thanks for (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) (wipes dribble from chin with kleenex) nnnniiiiicccceeee.... this ship is super duper! Monsieur Keppler, can you access the egg-shaped service craft from the inside? Also, how is the access to the engineering components by the minifigs. It had (...) (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Keppler Space Ship Myase finally here!

  Re: Minifig sticker generator

Wow this is a great utility I used MGI photosuite to print the stickers and they came out fine. Any Chance on putting up some armor patterns? :-) -Cj Catuogno- (23 years ago, 6-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: F-4u Corsair

(...) It has too much of a vertical incline for the SW canopy, there isn't anything yet produced that mimicks it that well, I geuss the SW canopy is the best. -Geordan- (...) (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Other appropriate MOCs...

(...) thing that seems maybe a smidge out of place are the landing gear. They just seem a tad too small -- but who cares? My Corsair has something dogfight with now! ;) (...) just plain awesome!   Re: F-4u Corsair

(...) Thanks Geordan! It worked well for "revision 1" though there aren't many options for the canopy that I like. The SW canopy is "okay" but just not quite right. Ah well. :) You've inpsired me to put it on the plate for a redesign in the near (...) (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.build.military)
