  Re: Gasaraki 1, any good?

(...) Well yeah, you would probably want to paint in some weathering, like some aluminum around the sharper edges or something. Other wise, (IMO) it starts looking too plastic, like if you assemble any unpainted model kit. This kit looks pretty good (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Huge pirate ship MOC

Hey everyone, come take a look at my 200 stud long pirate ship at: (URL) model has taken me months to build, but the time was hopefully been worth it. Comments are welcome. (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: It all started with an idea ...

(...) Holy cow Shaun! You're still the master! Thanks for mentioning my name in your post (a big honor for me ;-) You made one of the best AT-ST's on the net even better! Keep it up. Greetz, Jay (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

(...) Yes, and I watched some of them before you were born. :^) (...) Really? Which episodes? I only remember lots of Vipers zooming around. Hey, that's exactly how I built the missiles for my Nodatchi!!! That's that convergent thinking I was talking about in an earlier post. :] --Colin Bill Ward wrote: <snippage> (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: better photographic technique

I agree with you Brian. That is a better image. In particular the glare on the triangle wing pieces adds a metallic look while the shadow defines the plane breaks well. Still a very nice mecha.   Re: New MOC: HM-1 "Kicker" High Mobility Hard-Suit

Cool Mladen. I like hardsuits and this one is a good solid design. The feet and chest look similar to an origami mecha that I made which is tied into the whole Cankerworm deal. But you haven't seen it yet ;-) right? Anyway good job on this one. I'm (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  How Railguns Actually Work...

Arrgh. I guess I better clear this up for everybody now. Allow the classic underachiever to explain... Gauss guns [in general] propell a projectile by electromagnetism. There are two main types: Coil guns and rail guns. Coil guns actually have (...) (23 years ago, 26-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)
