Hi Doug, Looks like a good start! Did you build it with the boiler top horizontal to begin with? Does the stepped top in the photos look better? Re the wheels: I built a 4-6-0 GC steamer a few months ago using Technic pulley/wheels for the drivers (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jun-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Ok, got the pics scaned, and they look good! Point your browser to (URL) navigate to the A4 click on Lego, then Trains, then scroll down a bit and click on the LNER A4 Loco text. John, A sort of off-beat challenge would be to build the "strip-chart/EEG" model, the last one in the 8888 idea book. It's one of my favorites and it starts at (URL) goes for 3 or so pages. Alternatively, the mechanically programmable crane just (...) (25 years ago, 31-May-99, to lugnet.build)
