  Back at long last

Well everyone, as I promised LUGOLA I'd do, I'm breaking my silence before the next meeting. I've been lurking for about a month mow after being offline for 7 months. I wrote about this in the biography section on my updated site. The site isn't (...) (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.loc.us.ca.la, lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.people)

Re: New MOCs: Minifig scale cars and trucks

(...) I think that building under constraints is what makes it interesting. At four wide, the constraints are pretty severe, hence the challenge is even greater! This is why I am somewhat tempted to build trains. There are a series of constraints (...) (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

New MOCs: Minifig scale cars and trucks

I've built and photographed some old and new MOCs and added them to my site. It feels odd building at 4 wide, but it can still be satisfying. New MOC: big yellow Volvo Semi Tractor New MOCs based on old MOCs: Porsche 911 Carrera Cadillac Eldorado (...) (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: Something interesting in the mech world...

(...) I actually like K'nex; for a different building system, it ain't so bad. At least they were bold enough to recognize the market for build-your-own-mech toys. Lego is still riding high off of their SW contract, but I suspect that will run dry (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: LEGO Animals

(...) I've seen hammerhead used a few times but I'm pretty sure sawfish, needlenose, and hammerhead are all refering to the alternate shark head as seen in 6599 Shark Attack. Definately not a true hammerhead shark (which would be T-shaped) but it (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: D.C. Metrorail Car

I was just browsing though what happened last month and found this. Cool stuff. I have been looking at these (URL) Denmark and Sweden, but found them to be hard to build. Appearently not, looks like the same. How about building such one? Sonnich (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: I gone done built me a web-site

(...) Thanks KDJ, I'm glad you (and everyone else who responded) like the models. That angled structure you refer to is the back side of "The Big Board". I've posted some more pics so that you can see the front of "The Big Board". If you're a fan of (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Re: Something interesting in the mech world...

(...) What a load of rubbish the K'nex product is. It looks like trash. This must be their answear to the successful Star Wars line. Lego should retaliate with a Robotech/Macross line. I'd love a Lego Destroid Monster or a YF-19. The worst thing (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.lego.direct)

  Re: LEGO Mechcommander 2

I have made my decision. You are, in my opinion, the undisputed god of lego space! The minute I saw your site, several months ago, I fell in love with your models. The only one I have build thusfar, however, is the Raptor. I wanna build the (...) (23 years ago, 1-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  LEGO Mechcommander 2

After a short downtime LEGO Mechcommander is back again - the site needed an overhaul. In fact it has been completely rebuilt.   Something interesting in the mech world...

Hey Mechyfriends, So...I was in Toys "backwards-facing-R" Us the other day, and what do I see? K*Nex has secured the Mechwarrior license (Microsoft owns that line now, right?), and has produced (what I HATE to admit) a really good looking line. (I (...) Well, let's see... The best page that I've seen that demonstrates these techniques is Eric Brok's pages, particularly this one: (URL) I can't hit that page right now, unfortunately.
