  Re: Steerable town rig

(...) and the LDlite output. (might have to borrow that idea). And the instruction page looks great. The addition of the background really adds to the quality. Great model, great presentation. Well done. I am assuming that "Everything between two (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Curved walls

If you can find any, buy the anniversary tubs (set# 3761) it has eight of them (not much I know, but probably the best you can do with what's out there today) Silas Rich Thompson wrote in message <000401bea12a$3f39bf...rr.com>... (...) wall (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  ¡Legopalooza!

Pictures from Legopalooza have been posted, so all you concert-goers can see what you missed last weekend. This page will later be incorporated into my town section. Relevant questions/comments/criticisms are welcome. It's a bit slow-loading, but (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.publish, lugnet.announce)

Re: 5151 Steep Sloped Bricks (45 deg)

(...) My red roof pieces come in two kinds of plastic: the ones I had as a kid in the 60s are slightly translucent and the moulding is marginally less crisp. The newer ones I bought for my daughter about 1990 are a more opaque red plastic. I just (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Curved walls

Wow!!! ..... "mixed cylinder curving" ... I like the curved walls, but I love the "radiating chapel" effect that you built. What a great idea. More proof of the "power of the brick". Eric, I like how you took the problem of curving in LEGO, and (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: 5151 Steep Sloped Bricks (45 deg)

This (and a "rarest piece" thread in lugnet.general) reminds me of a rare sloped brick piece that I'm sure some of you who have any 1960's LEGO will recognize, and that is a 2x2 regular sloped apex (peak) brick that instead of an "I" ridge line has (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Steerable town rig

(...) Wow, thanks! I wanted to submit this model for the LEGO Model Design Competition, but it has sadly not been put up yet. I fear that I may have been the only one contributing anyway, so I can understand that the maintainer became disheartened. (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad)

  RE: Steerable town rig

(...) (URL) once again you are showing the way with small town vehicles. The rendering is an excellent design. My better half is an architectural illustrator and laments the move to CAD based illustration. Your combination of photo-realism and (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad)

  RE: Curved walls

This is one of my favorite sites for LegoSurfing. Of course this curved wall link begs the question: What is the best way to acquire the 1x1 rounds (especially white ones)? I can see R2-D2's body materializing in Legos in front of me, but I ran out (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Do you separate old vs. new LEGO?

I don't, simply because most of my collection falls under the "new" category, if I think I know what Gary is talking about. ;) The only separation I do though is putting the Town Junior parts (I.E. Car bodies, those horrible arch things, etc.) into (...) (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.build)
