Space Technologies (was Re: Burp Mountain Pictures)

(...) <snip> (...) I appologize for the mispelling and misquoting Mr. Spprellentok' words. The afore mentioned technology ('Spamcake') will most certainly from now on be spelled correctly. (...) Also, Mr. Spprellentok advises that no nano-universes (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-01, to lugnet.build)

  My enormous town is reborn!

Hi all, As some of you know, I moved late last year from California to Maryland. After months of on-and-off-labor, I have mostly rebuilt my huge town in a (hopefully) new and improved format. I've put pics online at (URL) probably put them on (...) (23 years ago, 20-May-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: Grimlock, Cargo pods, Bardiel

Lookin good Jon! I really like the held-together-with-d...tape-look! Now dont forget to put lots of wires, hoses, and tubes for exposed "innards". Bardiel just keeps gettin more and more detailed, I love it! Oh- and I love those little cargo modules (...) (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego VF-1 Progress Reports???

(...) Ditto, I'm afraid. Also, like yourself, I've spent a fair bit on other toys lately (Got both Vf-19 and 21 in Japan... hmm, I just realized every 'Transformer' I ever bought (StarScream, VF-1, VF-19, VF-21) was bought in Japan. Purely by (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Grimlock, Cargo pods, Bardiel

(...) Nice job of the freighter! Its got a real "I'm an old piece of junk freighter being held together with a piece of sticky tape" look (I hope that is what you were going for!). Can't wait to see it when the interior is finished and some shots of (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Lego VF-1 Progress Reports???

So . . . I know a while back people were either building or thinking about building VF-1 valkyries. So anybody have anything to show or report. I haven't touched my VF-1 project or Lego for that matter in ages. So I have nothing really new to show. (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) Uh . . . me too. But for me, my valkyrie habit is getting in the way of my Lego habit. I never thought I'd see the day when I would freeze my budget on Lego to divert to another toy. There is a phenominal amount of quality merchandise being (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) I'm fortunate in that my interest is only in the new ones, and even at that only the LED-powers ones (for the Micromen themselves, anyway)... But, as a bit of trivia, that's why the name Isamu was floating around in my head and I credited (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) Heh. (...) Yeah, they have that weird music thing. I haven't pursued it for the same reasons. The VF-2 SS is one of my favorite Valks, tho. I sure wish they'd make that one. (...) I think I remember some mumbling about that. We'll have to wait (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) Ah, that must be what's confusing me. Too many companies in one franchise for my feeble little brain to keep straight... (...) Right. M-7 is the one with the goofy guitar-controlled Valk gimmick, right? I've never seen it... I'm kind of afraid (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) Bandai just re-released their Macross 7 Valkyries, which feature the F-19. Macross Plus is chronologically earlier in the Macross timeline, and the YF-19 is of course the prototype of the F-19 used in the chronologically later Macross 7. (...) (...)   Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) Huh. I thought Bandai was doing the Macross Plus Valks... I stand corrected. There's a FASTpack version of the VF-11 coming out? Did we even see one in Macross Plus? eric (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) D'oh! You're right, of course. Looks like I'll have to watch the series again as penance. Hanging my head in shame, eric (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Airbike

(...) Nice! I especially like the propellors used to hold it up. You might want to give the guy some controls as soon as you find one of those handlebar pieces, though... :D eric (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Burp Mountain Pictures

(...) Hmm... I don't know.. That's always that fear that "mixing" Alien Technology might result in a corruption of the "gene pool" as it were.. ;P I just can't bring myself to do it - yet. Joel J (23 years ago, 18-May-01, to lugnet.build)
