  Re: Updated my site, again

Howdy... Thanks for all of your kind words... Since thecrew complement of a BOP is just over a dozen (except for the gAL'Deth, of course!), maybe I can try my hand out at a minifig version! Yikes, what did I just commit myself to???!!! onedaycnn (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man, lugnet.space)

  Re: Burp Mountain Pictures

(...) That's excellent, Richard. That's the kind of thing I'd love to do, but on a smaller scale due to a lesser amount of BURPs than you have. ;) I have an unrelated question though - In your brickshelf account - under the FFIPS folder - are those (...)   Re: Updated my site, again

Sid, The Bird-of-Prey is my favorite space ship and your model is great! When I was a kid, I could build in any scale - now I think only in mini-fig scale - your model has inspired me to try tp build my own Bird-of-Prey. Thank you. Bob Hayes (...)   Re: Burp Mountain Pictures

(...) Sounds like you came to many of the same conclusions as I did after my first mountain.(1) (...) Very impressive work - you've got it much more modular than I managed; although I'm rebuilding from scratch for each show, so I've got a little (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Final update of the Taranis.

(...) Heh. It works pretty good, just like you said. ;) JJ (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  non-violent space due date?

When is my last day to get this project done? I've finally finished everything else I've been working on, so hopefully it won't take me but a day or two more to finish it up. Thanks. (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Updated my site, again

(...) contrast with the red "window" at the front is good. I also like the use of the Imperial tile as the Photorp port. Now all you need to do is make one twice that size with minifig crew! :^) ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man, lugnet.space)

  Re: mech legalities

I would have to say the only "FASA" designs I liked were the rippped off Macross ones ie the LAM's and old versions of many mechs suchs as the shadow hawk and rifleman...but any way my site is on the way..evidendtly its going quite diffrent then it (...)   Re: Yamato VF-1 Valkyries!!!

(...) WOW, WOW, WOW.... Looks like I'm gonna get sucked back into Macross toys. I better get on eBay and sell off some of my old Robotech toys. Forget about trying to collect the classic (way too expensive) 1/55s. These look like they'll fly circles (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Updated my site, again

Howdy fellow LUGNETers! More updates on my pathetic little website, including two new Klingon Bird-of-Preys and more links to my new stuff on Brickshelf. (URL) you get to my page, please click on "Newest Stuff" link to get to... well, the newest (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny.man, lugnet.space)

  Re: Burp Mountain Pictures

(...) Thanks Tanya, The waterfall is made from several trans-blue pieces. The upper most (just off the lake) section is made from 3 Classic space window canopy (6-wide/the kind you get on the land speeder now, but they are clear) set on end (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Burp Mountain Pictures

(...) Thanks Abe, for your kind words of praise. The rebuild of it will make it much bigger (I'm figuring twice as large) length-wise at least, with peaks just as high as the original, if not a few larger. It will be at Brickfest for exhibition, if (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Final update of the Taranis.

(...) Hmmph? For some reason it looked more "beefed up" since last time I looked at it. Maybe I am just tired. Oh well. (...) Your Welcome -Mike Petrucelli (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Final update of the Taranis.

(...) Thanks, Mike! Truth be told, it's the same other than the landing gear which retract now - I gave in to Mark's critiquing of the crappy gear I had initially. Other than that, the remaining pics are the same as before. Thanks for the kind (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Final update of the Taranis.

(...) Wow! that is pretty cool. Even better than the first version I remember a little while back. I personally never cared for trans-blue and grey together but I won't let my personal bias cloud my judgement. That is a cool ship. -Mike Petrucelli (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Final update of the Taranis.

Well, I now have a digital camera. (And there was much rejoicing) I've posted three pics to my brickshelf account of the revised landing gear I put into my Taranis medium freighter a while back. (URL) I designed the Taranis with defensive guns, like (...) (23 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
