  Re: BrickTopia Public Library

Hi, Thanks for the compliments. I have several reasons for having high ceilings: - In many forms of classical architecture, extremely high ceilings are the norm. For instance, one famouse Italian architect, Paladio, recommends having a ceilling as (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: BrickTopia Public Library

I'm still trying to figure out where I got this. My part isn't yellowed and looks brand new. I do recall trading with someone as a kid and he had that moon landing set, but I'd be really surprised if it was in that good of shape from so long ago. I (...)   Re: Keppler Industries update: C-562 Modular Cargo Sytem

(...) Thanks :-) (...) Nope, never heard of it... I may have seen it, I often get ideas from stuff but have no idea where they came from, and this is the case. I guess I was sort of inspired by Tim Courtney's transport(um I think it's on his (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: BrickTopia Public Library

(...) There was also an accessory pack from the late '70s which had, I think six national flags (I have a Union Flag, a Swiss Flag and an Australian flag left) perhaps with some other bits, there may have been a Stars and Stripes in there too.   Re: Keppler Industries update: C-562 Modular Cargo Sytem

(...) I was reminded of "Space Truckers" when I first saw this model, too. I didn't mention it in my first post because I didn't, um, want anyone to know that I'd seen that movie. Double ugh. - Paul (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Keppler Industries update: C-562 Modular Cargo Sytem

(...) Having been on vacation, I just saw this. Did you get any inspiration (heaven knows there weren't any other redeeming qualities to it) from the movie Space Truckers? They used a system *kind* of like that. Sadly it was one of Dennis Hopper's (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Pneumatic Pump Testing Goes Hi Tech

(...) Thanks for the identification of the tire pressure gauge. I reckon the stores will soon be doing a brisk trade in them. But I would hesitate to use the word *calibrate* - the pressure sensor is a far more delicate device than the tire gauge. (...)   Re: BrickTopia Public Library

Thanks for the compliments. Actually, I have no clue where I got that American flag. I've had it for a long time. Anyone know where these came from? Yes - The 4x4x6 curved panels were very time consuming to "clean" with Brasso! Brad Josh Baakko (...) (24 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Different/exchanged heads

I exchange heads all the time. In the interests of equal opportunity, I like to have lots of female minifigs, so I am always interested in acquiring more female heads which I can put onto the torsos.
